"1982" is the third album by leading Latvian modern / electric jazz group LUPA and their first with an acclaimed and famous chamber orchestra SINFONIETTA RĪGA.

Music composed and arranged entirely by band's drummer Andris Buiķis (born 1982).

Double album "1982" continue Latvian Symphonic jazz tradition, what started back on 1930's and is the first Symphonic jazz album in Jersika Records catalog.
